About

Curated by Bold At Work, we’ve run Pazaars@319 where old meets new marketplace of ideas, injected play into public spaces with Park(ing) Day, explored neighbourliness in Jurong with Nukampung, and strengthened community activation and leadership under the Movements for Health. Find out more about the evolution of the Design the Good Life movement below!

  • 2021: Through a 3-month accelerator programme co-led by the MOH Office for Healthcare Transformation (MOHT), Bold at Work and The Thought Collective, the initiative brought together potential Community Movement Champions to co-create and design Movements for Health, culminating in a PAZAAR@319 showcase.

2023-2025: Movements for Health grew and Community Movement Champions leveraged Park(ing) Day to demonstrate its impact, with the support of MOH Office for Healthcare Transformation (MOHT).

  • A participatory process that took place over an 8-month period. In partnership with NuKampung from the Singapore University of Technology and University, Bold At Work undertook a research process to uncover new ways of engagement and neighbourliness in Jurong. This culminated into a Parking Day showcase.

  • Since 2019, Bold At Work has activated youth creators to join us in thematic placemaking and to inject a renewed sense of playfulness and possibility through Park(ing) Day as a platform.

  • A localised community activation platform — where old meets new — Pazaar@319 hosted prototypes from youths looking to explore what it’s like to live out the careers they imagine, and projects from young people seeking to hone their strengths and interests.
